nuit blanche
For the 2019 iteration of Nuit Blanche in Toronto, Daniel Arsham was invited to envision a public artwork at the festivals main site; in front of town hall. A large sand garden was created, with a 35' foot moon light and bridge. This was Daniel's largest sand garden and public work to date. An estimated 500,000 people visited the garden on the opening night. The garden was accompanied by a soundtrack made by Charlotte Day Wilson for the work.
Worked closely with Daniel on concept and design phase. Collaborated with city officials, festival curators and staff. Was onsite to manage installation and fabricate large artworks.
