blue garden

Blue Garden was a large public work in Rio de Janeiro which took Daniel Arsham's sand garden series to a new scale. The location was at Flamengo Park and framed the view to the famous Sugar Loaf mountain peak. The sand garden was the largest to date and included two cast works as well as the incorporation of landscaping elements. 

 

Worked closely with Daniel on the design of the garden, developed drawings, fabricated and managed on site installation, collaborating with the curatorial team, construction crew, and museum staff.
